Roy Peires Expands Giving via IDILIQ, Kind Holidays
Roy Peires’ IDILIQ Foundation and Kind Holidays initiative has provided free holidays to more than 2,300 people across more than a dozen charities.
United Kingdom, 14th May 2026— May 7, 2026 — Roy Peires, the entrepreneur behind the IDILIQ Group, has directed decades of business success toward a structured program of charitable giving and community investment on the Costa del Sol and beyond. Through the IDILIQ Foundation, Roy Peires has contributed millions of euros in funding, infrastructure, and in-kind support to organizations serving some of the region’s most vulnerable populations – from families facing terminal illness to individuals with cognitive and developmental disabilities.

The IDILIQ Foundation’s impact is measurable and documented. Among its most significant undertakings, the Foundation funded the construction of the F. Cruz Dias-ADIMI Care Centre, a facility built at a cost of €1,600,000 that currently provides treatment and support to more than 500 people in Mijas. ADIMI is the only private non-profit organization in Mijas dedicated to defending the rights, inclusion, and quality of life of individuals with cognitive and developmental disabilities. The Centre operates across two floors, offering Early Care, Child and Youth Services, a Day and Occupational Centre, and a Residential Facility for individuals with severe conditions, supported by modern medical technology and therapeutic consultation rooms.
The Foundation’s relationship with Cudeca, a hospice providing free specialized palliative care to patients in advanced stages of terminal cancer, dates to the earliest years of Roy Peires’ philanthropic activity. The IDILIQ Foundation donated the Reception of Cudeca’s newly built hospice and has since sponsored the charity’s annual Walkathon, contributed furniture and goods to Cudeca’s charity shops across the province, and provided a vehicle to support the Home Care team’s patient visits. More recently, Cudeca patients and their families have been welcomed at IDILIQ Hotels and Resorts through the Kind Holidays program.
Kind Holidays, which originated as an IDILIQ Foundation initiative, has become one of the hospitality sector’s most recognized charitable access programs. Launched in 2012 with a donation to Give Us Time – a charity founded by former UK Defence Secretary Sir Liam Fox that supports military personnel and families dealing with PTSD and physical injuries – Kind Holidays expanded in 2016 to include charities supporting terminally ill children, bereavement organizations, Children’s Hospices, and the Carers Trust, which was founded by Princess Anne. Following a pause during the COVID-19 pandemic, the initiative resumed in 2022 with renewed momentum and a broader mission to encourage participation across the hospitality industry.
To date, more than 2,300 individuals across more than a dozen charitable organizations have received free accommodation at IDILIQ Hotels and Resorts through Kind Holidays. Roy Peires has also developed a practical guide and template, available at Kind Holidays, designed to help other hoteliers establish their own programs.
Beyond these flagship initiatives, the IDILIQ Foundation supports Afesol, the Association of Families and Individuals with Mental Health Conditions, through furniture donations, volunteer participation in its annual suicide prevention walk, and the recent equipping of its Day Centre in Mijas. The Foundation conducts an annual internal campaign benefiting the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC) in Málaga, directing all proceeds toward breast cancer research and support. The use of an apartment in an IDILIQ resort was made available to families of children undergoing cancer treatment, providing free accommodation during periods of extended hospital care.
Additional community investments include the annual donation of 500 Christmas Eve meals to Los Ángeles Malagueños de la Noche, the full equipping of a computer classroom for Fuensocial users with disabilities, and technology donations to Asociación Cadi, El Faro de la Escucha, Asociación ALAS, and others. IDILIQ staff in Tenerife participate in the Mercedes-Benz Tour Amateur Golf Tournaments to raise funds for Asociación Nuevo Futuro, which supports families living in poverty. Roy Peires has also maintained a personal philanthropic relationship with Christel House, a global charity dedicated to building schools in under-resourced communities, for more than two decades.
