Gasmyryde Announces Launch of Mobile Fueling and Tire Services, Building Trust in a New Era of Convenience

Starting at select gas stations, Gasmyryde understands that building trust with customers will take time — just as services like DoorDash and Uber once did. Gasmyryde allows users to pull into participating gas stations, stay inside their vehicles, and have a trained delivery agent — known as a Gaser — handle fueling and tire services. There’s no need to swipe cards, handle payments, or even interact. Customer profiles are saved in advance through the app, so upon arrival, the Gaser already has their fueling information, making the experience faster, smoother, and contact-free.

The initial pilot program will launch at select Quick Trip gas stations in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Gasmyryde is also reaching out to additional gas station owners to expand partnerships, creating the foundation for a broader national rollout and future entry into Canada — starting with tourist-friendly cities like Niagara Falls.

Gasmyryde brings major advantages for drivers, rideshare operators, delivery couriers, and busy commuters. By eliminating the traditional hassles of fueling and vehicle maintenance, the service gives people back their time and energy. It’s similar to how Uber and grocery delivery apps changed daily errands — offering a safer, easier, and more modern experience.

In addition to fueling, Gasmyryde will offer on-site tire inflation services. Once onsite, a Gaser will assist in airing up tires. In some cases, customers may need to provide four quarters to the Gaser if the gas station’s air machines only accept coin payments. Customers simply stay comfortably in their vehicles while the Gaser handles the “dirty work” — making vehicle care faster, cleaner, and more convenient.

Customers will also be able to request light vehicle inspections through the app. They can select exactly which lights they want checked — including brake lights, front headlights, four-way hazard lights, and especially reverse lights and brake lights — helping them stay road-legal and avoid unnecessary tickets.

While New Jersey currently mandates full-service fueling by station attendants, Gasmyryde sees an exciting opportunity for collaboration. The company plans to reach out to New Jersey’s government and leadership to explore how Gasmyryde’s model could complement existing systems — giving customers the option to choose between traditional full-service fueling or the newer, faster Gasmyryde experience. Some drivers may still prefer getting out of their car, while others would welcome the ability to remain seated and let a Gaser handle everything seamlessly.
