San Francisco Bay Area, CA, United States, 16th Jan 2026 – Diwa of Mount Luntian, a new children’s picture book written by Cleodia Martinez and illustrated by Paola Santos, will be released on March 17, 2026 through major online book retailers.
Inspired by Philippine folklore and natural rhythms, Diwa of Mount Luntian follows a young diwata as she moves through the gentle rhythm of an ordinary day. The story is designed to support moments of calm, reflection, and connection between children and the adults who care for them.
The book is the first title in the Mount Luntian series, an illustrated collection centered on quiet storytelling, sensory awareness, and emotional steadiness. Future titles in the series will introduce additional characters inspired by classical Filipino folk archetypes, reimagined with a present-day lens that emphasizes care, awareness, and gentleness rather than fear-based narratives.
