Marketing and Branding Executive Chris Parker Joins Board of Directors at Kroussaw Foundation
Parker brings decade-plus leadership in culture-shaping campaigns to empower youth through creative and career-readiness programs
United States, 2nd Sep 2025 — Kroussaw Foundation today announced the appointment of Chris Parker —a Los Angeles–based marketing and branding executive—as a new member of its Board of Directors. Parker, known for creative direction with global artists including J Balvin and Lizzo, and for launching In The Black Network as acting Marketing Director, will help steer the Foundation’s brand, partnerships, and programming to expand impact for youth and underserved communities.
“As a board member, I’m committed to inspiring youth who look like me and creating on-ramps to careers in media, tech, and the creative economy,” said Chris Parker. “My goal is to connect the Foundation’s mission with world-class storytelling, brand partners, and mentorship pathways that enrich, employ, and empower.”
Parker is the Founder and principal of True To Brand, a 360° creative and marketing agency delivering strategy, experiential, content, and PR for fashion, beauty, lifestyle, hospitality, and entertainment clients. Drawing on an award-winning track record across brand launches, influencer programs, and culturally resonant campaigns, Parker will advise Kroussaw Foundation on narrative, partnerships, and measurable growth.
As Board Director, Parker will focus on:
- Brand & Narrative: Elevating the Foundation’s storytelling to amplify mission and outcomes.
- Partnerships & Sponsorships: Building values-aligned collaborations with brands and creators.
- Youth Programs: Expanding creative skills training, mentorship, and career-readiness pipelines.
- Measurement: Defining KPIs that track reach, participation, and long-term impact.

He has partnered with global artists and brands—including J Balvin and Lizzo—and served as acting Marketing Director for In The Black Network, a platform amplifying Black creators and founders.
