Local businesswoman nominated for global Womens Business Award
United Arab Emirates, 11th Sep 2025 – This December businesswomen from across the globe are coming together for the annual Women’s Business Awards. The event features over 25 categories including Businesswoman of the Year, Employer of the Year, and Diversity & Inclusion Award. There is also a Man of the Year to honour the men who support their women in their business or career. Previous winners included a spouse, staff member and hotel director.
Local businesswoman, Ash Mvelase of NexaWave from United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi has been nominated for the Leader of the Year. Ash says,
“This nomination for me is not about applause. It’s about affirmation. It affirms that discipline, resilience and vision are not abstract concepts but daily choices that shape businesses, families and futures. Being nominated honors the women who built quietly before me and proves to the women coming after me that clarity and courage can turn even the harshest terrain into fertile ground.”
The awards are hosted by Women’s Business Club, a movement that empowers women to succeed in business. This year’s awards are proudly sponsored by the popular Tesla and are judged by distinguished business leaders from across the country.
