In-Pulse CPR Marks 150000 Students Trained Powering Everyday Heroes Across Four States

In-Pulse CPR marks 150,000 students trained in CPR, AED, First Aid, and BLS, empowering everyday heroes across Minnesota, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.

When a cardiac emergency strikes, every second counts. For more than 15 years, In-Pulse CPR has been preparing ordinary people to respond with extraordinary action. This American Heart Association (AHA)–approved training center has now reached a milestone of 150,000 students trained in CPR, AED, First Aid, and Basic Life Support (BLS), strengthening the life-saving readiness of communities across Minnesota, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.

“Every week we hear of graduates stepping in when seconds matter, from a high-school gym in Minneapolis to a church in Tampa,” says Troy Bowman, Vice President of In-Pulse CPR. “That’s the real measure of success.”

A Mission Born From Experience

In-Pulse CPR began in 2009, founded by Mollie Bowman, a veteran nurse who saw first-hand how dull, ineffective CPR classes left participants unprepared. Determined to change that, she launched a program built on hands-on practice, expert instruction, and confidence-building scenarios. What started as a single Minnesota class quickly grew into a multi-state operation serving hospitals, schools, corporations, and the general public.

Hands-On Training That Saves Lives

While online CPR courses are plentiful, In-Pulse CPR believes nothing replaces real equipment and real instructors. Classes are led by professionals, paramedics, ER nurses, and seasoned first responders, who guide students through realistic drills until muscle memory takes over.

“We don’t just issue cards; we train people to act,” Bowman explains. “Our students leave ready, not just certified.” This approach has produced countless success stories: graduates performing life-saving compressions on loved ones, coworkers, and strangers before emergency crews arrived.

A Ripple Effect in Every Community

With over 50 training locations, In-Pulse CPR ensures that nearly everyone in its core regions is within a short drive of a class. In cities from Tampa Bay and Orlando to Minneapolis–St. PaulHarrisburg, and Chattanooga, graduates carry their new skills back to families, workplaces, and neighborhoods, creating a ripple effect of safety and preparedness.

Partnerships with universities, health systems, and government agencies amplify that reach, embedding life-saving knowledge where it’s needed most.

Setting the Standard

As an AHA-approved training center, In-Pulse CPR follows the latest evidence-based guidelines in emergency cardiovascular care. Students leave with nationally recognized certification cards and the practical ability to respond when lives hang in the balance.
