From Silence to Global Stage – Marcus Boyd Expands His Mission for Autism Awareness

Some of his achievements have included 13 music awards, seven Grammy nominations, a Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award with a Medal of Honor, and an Autism Lifetime Achievement Award. As the first African American to become a multi-award-winning autism activist, the story of Boyd demonstrates perseverance, representation, and hope.
As one of the keynote speakers, Boyd has used his platform to tell his story of how he went from being homeless and in foster care to a respected voice on the global stage for autism awareness and acceptance.
