Body Percussion Academy and UC Berkeley TDPS Present – Body Percussion Workshop with Antwan Davis — December 13, 2025
Berkeley, CA — The Body Percussion Academy, in partnership with UC Berkeley’s Department of Theater, Dance & Performance Studies (TDPS), announces a high-energy Body Percussion Workshop led by acclaimed performer and educator Antwan Davis. The workshop will be held Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 1:00–2:30 PM at the Bancroft Dance Studio in Berkeley, CA.
A veteran performer with STOMP, Step Afrika!, and co-founder of Molodi, Davis brings over two decades of experience in rhythm education and community building. His workshops invite participants to explore the body as an instrument, using rhythm to support emotional well-being, confidence, and creative expression.

Antwan Davis is a performer, educator, and founder of the Body Percussion Academy. With a 20+ year career—including international tours with STOMP and Step Afrika!—he has performed in six countries and all 50 U.S. states and teaches rhythm-based programming throughout the Bay Area.
