Anubhav Mittal Leads ADM’s M&A Strategy Across $10B in Deals
The senior finance executive brings CFO-level experience and two decades of transaction leadership to ADM’s global corporate development program.
United States, 19th May 2026 — Anubhav Mittal, VP and Global Head of Business Development & M&A at Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), has built a transaction record spanning approximately $10 billion in executed deals across acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, carve-outs, and strategic partnerships. Over more than two decades in corporate finance and M&A, he has operated at the intersection of financial discipline and enterprise strategy, leading complex transactions across global markets at the executive level.
At ADM, the role spans the full deal lifecycle – from opportunity identification, valuation, and due diligence through structuring, negotiation, closing, and post-close value capture. Beyond individual transactions, responsibilities extend to investment governance and capital allocation processes that inform enterprise-level strategic prioritization. This positions corporate development not as a transactional function but as a direct input into how ADM allocates capital and pursues long-term growth.
Before assuming his current position, he served as CFO of ADM’s Nutrition Business Unit, an approximately $8 billion global organization with more than 14,000 employees across B2B and B2C markets. In that role, he led commercial finance, FP&A, operations finance, controlling, and strategy across a matrixed, multinational structure – delivering measurable improvements in return on invested capital, margin expansion, and working capital reduction. He also held VP Finance responsibility for ADM’s Global Pet Solutions platform, which scaled at approximately 20% CAGR through targeted restructuring and repositioning.
Prior to ADM, he held senior roles at Kellogg Company, including VP Finance for Kellogg North America and Senior Director of Corporate Development and Strategy, overseeing a major global restructuring program from design through cross-functional execution. Earlier, at Booz & Company, he advised clients on corporate strategy, post-merger integration, go-to-market transformation, and operational improvement – a foundation that shaped the structured analytical approach he has applied throughout his operating career. Anubhav Mittal holds an MBA from Harvard Business School with a concentration in Finance and Strategy, a Bachelor of Technology from IIT Kanpur where he graduated in the top 5% of his class, and both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designations.
