MultiHopper Privacy Protocol Wins 3rd Place in Visa Track at Solana Colosseum Hackathon in Berlin

MultiHopper recognized for its programmable on-chain privacy infrastructure for digital asset transfers, stablecoin settlement and next-generation payment rails, wins third place at Solana Colosseum’s Visa Track.

Singapore, 15th May 2026 – MultiHopper, a programmable privacy protocol for digital assets, has won 3rd place in the Visa track at the Solana Colosseum Frontier Hackathon in Berlin.

The award recognizes MultiHopper’s work in building fully on-chain, non-custodial routing infrastructure for digital asset transfers. Built first on Solana, MultiHopper is designed to help users, developers, businesses and institutions move assets with greater privacy, programmability and operational control.

The Visa track focused attention on one of the most important areas of blockchain adoption: payments and settlement. As stablecoins, tokenized assets and digital payment rails continue to grow, there is increasing demand for infrastructure that enables fast, low-cost and programmable movement of value while reducing unnecessary public exposure of sensitive financial activity.

MultiHopper addresses this challenge by introducing programmable on-chain privacy routing. The protocol allows digital assets to move through on-chain routes rather than relying solely on direct wallet-to-wallet transfers, which can expose counterparties, timing, treasury behavior, payment flows and business strategy.

Unlike mixers, tumblers or shielded pools, MultiHopper does not commingle user funds and does not depend on opaque off-chain settlement. The protocol is designed to remain on-chain, non-custodial and permissionless while improving privacy and programmability for digital asset movement.

“Winning 3rd place in the Visa track is an important validation of the problem MultiHopper is solving,” said the MultiHopper team. “If stablecoins and digital assets are going to become serious payment and settlement infrastructure, businesses and institutions need more than speed. They need privacy, programmability, compliance-readiness and operational control. MultiHopper is building that routing layer for on-chain finance.”

The recognition comes as the blockchain industry increasingly shifts toward real-world financial infrastructure. Stablecoins, tokenized real-world assets, institutional settlement, treasury operations and AI-agent transactions are creating new requirements for programmable movement of digital assets.

MultiHopper is positioned to support a wide range of use cases, including private stablecoin transfers, institutional settlement, treasury rebalancing, protocol payments, DAO operations, market maker flows, wallet privacy, RWA transfers and developer API integrations.

Solana provides the initial foundation for MultiHopper because of its speed, low transaction costs and growing payments ecosystem. The protocol is live first on Solana and is focused on supporting developers and businesses building the next generation of on-chain payment and settlement applications.

The Solana Colosseum Frontier Hackathon and Berlin Build Station brought together builders, mentors, ecosystem contributors and judges from across the Solana ecosystem. MultiHopper’s placement in the Visa track highlights the growing importance of privacy-aware payment infrastructure as blockchain adoption expands beyond trading and into mainstream financial use cases.

“On-chain transparency is powerful, but direct transfers can reveal too much,” the MultiHopper team added. “No serious business wants its full financial activity mapped in real time by competitors, counterparties, bots or analytics platforms. MultiHopper helps solve that by making asset movement more programmable and privacy-aware while keeping it fully on-chain.”

MultiHopper’s broader vision is to become a programmable routing layer for digital assets. If SWIFT became the messaging layer for traditional finance, MultiHopper aims to serve as programmable routing infrastructure for the next generation of blockchain-based money movement.
