EthicAI Launches Defensible Decisions and AI121 Programs to Strengthen Executive Decision-Making in the Age of Scrutiny
Sydney, Australia, 17th Feb 2026 – As AI accelerates the pace and visibility of decision-making, executive leaders face growing pressure to act quickly while remaining accountable to employees, shareholders, regulators, and the public. Yet many lack the time or frameworks to assess whether AI-informed decisions will withstand scrutiny.

To address this gap, EthicAI has launched two new executive programs: Defensible Decisions, a first-of-its-kind, one-day workshop for executive teams and boards, and AI121, a six-week coaching program helping leaders identify and implement practical AI workflows.
Developed by EthicAI Co-Founders Katriel Healy and Kara Bombell, the programs equip senior decision-makers with clear, actionable frameworks to navigate ethical, reputational, and operational complexity in the AI era.
The Defensible Decisions workshop applies two established ethical frameworks—Consequentialism (assessing outcomes) and Duty Ethics (evaluating obligations)—combined with EthicAI’s proprietary IP. Using live or synthesised business scenarios, participants practise structuring and stress-testing decisions in a facilitated environment before taking them into the boardroom.
“There’s no such thing as a perfect decision,” said Katriel Healy, Co-Founder of EthicAI. “What matters is whether leaders can clearly articulate their rationale. That clarity builds trust with employees, shareholders, and the public.”
As the first program of its kind in Australia, Defensible Decisions reflects EthicAI’s mission to translate ethical principles into everyday business practice.
AI121 is a six-week, one-to-one coaching program for leaders who know AI is already shaping their organisations but need structured support to engage with it responsibly. The program focuses on identifying high-impact use cases, designing simple AI workflows, and building confidence in governing AI-enabled work.
“Many leaders are expected to sponsor and govern AI without having the time or space to experiment with the technology themselves,” said Kara Bombell, Director of EthicAI. “The real gap isn’t interest—it’s time. Leaders need support to understand how AI works in their specific context, so they can make confident decisions without having to ‘play with the tech’ on nights and weekends.”
EthicAI is also recognised for its Future Fit Diagnostic, AI Academy, and advisory work supporting medium-sized and for-purpose organisations to adopt AI responsibly.
